CBC's Hockey Day in Canada to Attend World Pond Hockey Championship event.

Ron MacLean, who will also act as the honorary chairman of the event, along with Kelly Hrudey and other Hockey Night in Canada personalities will be in Plaster Rock on February 19 to take part in the 2009 World Pond Hockey Championship.

They are expected to be part of the opening ceremonies and CBC will be telecasting from Roulston Lake during their Pittsburgh Penguin versus Montreal Canadiens game that evening. Activities from Roulston Lake will be featured throughout the NHL telecast.

CBC will be on hand all weekend and other hockey personalities such as Bobby Hull may be in attendance as well.
