Name
Plaster Rock gets its name from the hill on the other side of the Tobique River. The rock is made of gypsum or plaster. Hezekiah Day gave Plaster Rock its name and it is from this rock that Plaster Rock got its name. This was the only name ever given to Plaster Rock.
